Built-Up Roofing

Built-up roofs are a cost-effective and low-maintenance option, known for their durability, weather resistance, and ability to withstand foot traffic. Constructed with multiple layers of insulation, tar, and gravel, BUR systems form a tough, long-lasting barrier against the elements. Repairs are straightforward, as worn layers can be removed and replaced with minimal disruption. With proper maintenance and regular inspections, built-up roofs can provide reliable performance for up to 40 years.

Modified Bitumen Roof

Modified bitumen roofs are made from mineral-coated, asphalt-based materials available in rolled sheets, offering a durable and versatile roofing solution. Typically installed as a two-ply system, they are lighter and more resilient than traditional built-up roofing, making them highly stable even under frequent foot traffic. Their cost-effectiveness, combined with long-lasting performance, makes them a popular choice. With proper maintenance, a modified bitumen roof can provide reliable protection for 20 to 30 years.

PVC Roof

PVC roofing is a durable, weather-resistant membrane that reflects sunlight, providing energy efficiency and long-lasting protection for flat roofs. When professionally installed, a PVC roof can deliver reliable performance for 30 years or more. While the upfront cost is typically higher than other membrane options, the longevity, energy savings, and low maintenance make it a smart investment for long-term roofing solutions.

EPDM, TPO and SBS Membrane Roof

EPDM, TPO, SBS membranes are durable, weather-resistant, and energy-efficient solutions ideal for flat roofs. Both options are cost-effective, easy to install, and available in single- or double-ply systems. The key difference is that EPDM is a synthetic rubber membrane, while TPO is made from thermoplastic polyolefin. Additionally, SBS, a type of modified bitumen, can also be used in membrane form. These roofing systems are installed over insulated board layers and, with proper installation and regular maintenance, can provide long-lasting performance for 35 to 40 years.
